We’re in Tbilisi, capital of Georgia, to talk with Eka Chitanava, a journalist working with Liberali - one of the country’s few independent news outlets.
Eka tells us about her first assignment - covering the conflict with Russia in 2008 - and investigations into the post-war settlements that sprung up around the capital afterwards. She also talks about he growing gap between rich and poor and whether she’s hopeful for the future of independent media in Georgia.
